If youve ever dreamed of living in a stately home then this is the runner for you. Weaving tulips and poppies in a rich flowing pattern inspired by natural formations COMPTON was originally created in 1896 by William Morris for the interiors of Compton Hall in Wolverhampton. Now reimagined by House of Hackney in a sumptuous palette and grander scale this runner will steep any staircase in history and majesty and thats before we mention that its woven from the very best British wool by Axminster Carpets the Royal Warranted manufacturer of floor coverings for iconic buildings including Brighton Pavilion Buckingham Palace and now your place.
Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats acre by acre."
