Can’t decide which shade to go for? Our Paint Colour Card features every one of our 60+ paints, each colour swatched from the tones of Nature.
Our low VOC, water-based paint is produced to order in Britain, ensuring there is no waste, and includes fully recyclable packaging and a complimentary stirrer crafted from by-products; bringing beauty and creativity to the home while reflecting the principles of sustainability that makes House of Hackney a B corp brand.
Each of the colours in ‘The Art of Nature’ paint palette boasts depth and pigment intensity for a truly exceptional colour payoff, and a low sheen, chalky finish for a timeless aesthetic.
Our paint is durable, quick-drying and easy to apply - with just 2 coats needed for full colour saturation. Available in Matt Emulsion and Eggshell finishes.

UK Delivery
Charges start at £6, with delivery taking 2 to 5 working days for in-stock items.
International Delivery
All orders are sent with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price.

STEP 1: Measure the room
Before placing your order, be sure to map out the space where you would like the furniture to sit by laying masking tape or newspaper, corresponding to the design’s widest dimensions, onto the floor. You can find the dimensions of each House of Hackney piece under the ‘Product Details’ section of the individual product pages on our website. TIP: It’s a smart move to leave a little wiggle room either side of your chair or sofa, so that it doesn’t have to be wedged into place. Ideally, you want enough of a gap to walk around the piece – or nestle a side table or lamp next to it if desired.
STEP 2: Measure your home
Next, taking into account the height (H), width (W) and depth (D) of your chosen furniture, you will need to measure your home to ensure the piece can comfortably reach the room in which it will live – so think about the doorways, hallways and stairwells it will need to pass through to get there.

Upon founding our House, we spent six months travelling the length and breadth of the UK in search of the country’s finest craftspeople. We are proud to still work closely with these small-scale, family-run businesses today – preserving specialist, age-old trades (not to mention local jobs) while delivering unparalleled quality.
Each design is a celebration of traditional craftsmanship and sublime artistry, made to stand the test of time. No wonder, then, that we call them ‘future heirlooms’

Since the day our House was built, a sense of compassion for people and planet has served as the foundation of everything we do. House of Hackney is evolving from a B Corp sustainable brand to a regenerative one. This means doing things differently to bring about social and economic change, promoting the restoration and regeneration of natural resources and social systems. It means going beyond simply ‘sustaining’ and instead, actively making things better.

From farm to furnishings, we ensure the natural world and the people within it are considered at every touchpoint. At House of Hackney, we’re all about making changes to protect the natural world and we are always seeking out ways to evolve our business that work more in harmony with Mother Nature. A big part of that is questioning the materials we use; are they the best available and can we do better?
As standard, our wallpaper is made using PVC-free, FSC certified, purposely grown materials, printed with water-based, environmentally safe inks and is made especially to order, reducing waste.
From natural mycelium products and sustainable cork materials to working with paper scientists to explore creating wallpaper from non-wood fibres, we are committed to discovering new material innovations and new ways of thinking and making products.
