Part of the House of Hackney x William Morris collection, 'Blackthorn' is reimagined and remastered for a new generation. Originally designed in 1892, the Art Nouveau design features hawthorn, daisies, tulips and foliage block-printed onto paper, for a beautiful hand -painted finish. This smooth British velvet in a palette of black, teal, red and yellow is the last word in interiors luxury. Our British velvets are made from the finest quality cotton and crafted on a loom by weaving two pieces of fabric face to face then cutting them apart. This creates a lavishly soft-to-the-touch finish that's resilient to everyday wear and tear.
Each metre sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
