Finding Centre: A Retreat for Women with Hannah Pearson

A deeply nurturing experience in the company of other women, allowing space for connection, ceremony and deep renewal, this retreat will take place at Imbolc: the ancient festival that signals the beginning of spring and the earth’s awakening. It’s a time of rebirth, creating space for new beginnings and unearthing hidden potential…

By honouring the goddess in each us as well as the cycles of birth and death, we will clarify the gifts that the wintertime has brought you and engage with preparing to birth anew into the spring. Imbolc is a time of balance between the winter and summer solstices that gives us opportunity for release, reflection and rebirth. What gifts are you birthing? And are you ready to support yourself deeply so that this process is enjoyable, nourishing and easeful? This retreat is a celebration of emergence, growth and the return of the light.

This is the retreat for you if…

You are longing for space to reconnect with yourself and to enjoy being around other women who are also ready to grow. It’s ideal for women who have noticed that too much of life has become about ‘doing’ rather than ‘being’. It’s for those who are ready to reclaim their authentic voice, to explore what gifts they can bring to the world once their cup is overflowing, and to understand how they can offer those gifts while still honouring their own needs.

It’s open to all women who are…

Ready to release old beliefs that are holding you back in work, family, relationships and self-connection. Women who are longing to reconnect with both themselves and nature more deeply, and who are drawn to the sacred and ceremonial. Women who are ready to explore new ways of doing things, who want to reintegrate their potency and innate feminine abilities, and feel more able to navigate challenges that may come. This is not for anyone who wants a sticking plaster or temporary sense of relief. It’s for the woman who is ready to stand up and allow her fullness, in her family, her work and her life.

The aim of this journey is…

To honour our innate interconnectedness and to allow ourselves to be deeply nourished by it. To re-find your centre and reconnect with the innate support systems that enable consistent energy, balance and enjoyment of life. It will teach you how to become the mistress of your own thoughts, to explore your wild, intuitive nature and to reconnect with presence and love, all while remembering how to deeply nourish yourself. You will then feel supported to go back into the world as your true, authentic, confident self.

Activities will include:

Practices for self-connection, grounding and energising

Exploring our internal landscape and the fight/flight response, alongside how to reset our biochemistry for optimum wellbeing

Getting comfortable being you and finding your authentic voice

Ancestral healing and a resolving of ancestral patterns

Guided meditation and visualisation practices

Exploring healthy boundaries and the tools to navigate stress and overwhelm

Silent time

A ceremonial fire and a ‘Burying Your Weapons’ ceremony

Barefoot meditation walking

Post-retreat audio and video recordings of practices

One-hour follow-up support call

A Retreat for Men and Women with Hannah Pearson

Dive into the depths of loving self-care and re-find your freedom at this mixed retreat, which will take place at Ostara: the ancient festival that marks a point of perfect balance in the earth’s cycle. Symbolic of promise and energy, it’s also the perfect time to turn our hopes into action…

As humans, we are returning to connection, to care, to kindness, and to the joy of being present in the body and on the earth. As we make space internally, letting go of old patterns and stories that no longer serve us, there is space to connect in new and more nourishing ways. Join us for this magical exploration honouring our interconnection with nature and celebrating the blossoming into fullness, both in ourselves and in nature. Expect deep listening, kinship, renewal and allowing pleasure in the simple engagement of being fully alive.

This is the retreat for you if…

You have been over-extending yourself for too long: if you find yourself constantly pushing, trying, doing and looking after others, without the time or space to renew, connect with and care for yourself. If you long to spend time exploring and enjoying your connection to nature and the natural flow of life force. If you want to deepen your connection with yourself, and feel ready to allow space around beliefs and patterns of behavior that no longer serve you. This retreat will help you to re-find your alignment and make choices based on your own truth.

How this retreat can help:

Specifically designed to support you in reconnecting with and rekindling your loving self-care, this retreat will introduce tools that can transform an existence where a sense of dissatisfaction and exhaustion have become the underlying currents – steering you towards a life where flow, connection, nourishment and balance will become your new base lines.

Activities will include:

Practices and meditations to support your spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing

Reclaiming and repurposing of the energy that we use being fed up, tired and unfulfilled

Exploring and releasing of outdated patterns, habits and beliefs

Getting comfortable with asking for and being met in our human needs

Allowing for balance and nurture, learning how to be successful and thrive without the exhaustion

Silent time

A fire ceremony, sharing groups and exploration of self-development

A safe and supportive space to dive deep and come up with pearls

Post-retreat audio and video recordings of practices

One-hour follow-up support call

A note on safety and housekeeping

Although dreamt up long before the current situation unfolded, we feel that the time to open up the Castle of Trematon is now. We’re all desiring freedom and peace more than ever, and you’ll find it in spades amongst our 9 acres of gardens, woodland and orchards. As fortunate as we are to have plenty of space, we aim to strike a balance between this and cultivating an intimate, personalised experience. So, each retreat will be limited to between 7 and 12 guests, with the constraints of social distancing transformed into an opportunity for you to roam wild and free.

Your bedroom will be set up prior to your arrival and will not be entered by our housekeepers until the retreat has ended. We will allow a period of 72 hours for rooms to be aired and sanitised between guests checking out and new arrivals checking in. Please note that, in sympathy with the original designs for the house, the bathrooms are shared (with one bathroom per two bedrooms). Each bathroom is cleaned three times a day. Used towels and bed linen may be placed outside your bedroom door for collection before being replaced with fresh ones, which will be placed by the door in a sealed bag.

Getting there

By train: London Paddington to Saltash (fastest journey is 3 hours). Private transfers to and from Saltash railway station are included

By car: Castle Hill, Saltash, PL12 4QW

If your existing seats are well-loved, but perhaps a little too well-worn, be it a sumptuous printed velvet or a smooth cotton-linen – can be enough to make you want to snuggle up on them all over again.

When it comes to furniture (which can also be a scene stealer in its own right), your choice will likely be dictated by the number of family members and friends who will regularly be hanging out here: will a cosy two-seater sofa be enough, or will you also need a chaise longue and a few ‘bottomans’ for your visitors to park their, um, bottoms on? If your existing seats are well-loved, but perhaps a little too well-worn, recovering them in a new fabric – be it a sumptuous printed velvet or a smooth cotton-linen – can be enough to make you want to snuggle up on them all over again.

A mantelpiece, if you’re lucky enough to have one, is even more worthy.
