Products & Materials
At House of Hackney, we’re all about making changes to protect the natural world and we are always seeking out ways to evolve our business that work more in harmony with Mother Nature. A big part of that is questioning the materials we use; are they the best available and can we do better?
From natural mycelium products and sustainable cork materials to working with paper scientists to explore creating wallpaper from non-wood fibres, we are committed to discovering new material innovations and new ways of thinking and making products.

Impact Report
We want to be accountable on our regenerative journey, that's why we are publishing our Impact Report. This shows our impact on the natural world, and the steps we are taking to protect it for the future.

Our Regenerative Journey
Since the day our House was built, a sense of compassion for people and planet has served as the foundation of everything we do.
Follow our journey, in our founder Frieda’s words, as we move from being a B Corp sustainable business, to a regenerative one. With the seasons, Frieda will share her journal of House of Hackney’s mission to leave our home better than we found it.

Canopy Commitment
Forests are the lungs of the Earth, and we believe it is our responsibility to protect and preserve them. With wood-fibre our most used material,
we want to do everything we can to limit our burden on the planet and its precious resources. We have made the CanopyStyle and Canopy Pack4Good Commitment,
in which we pledge to ensure that wood-fibre from Ancient and Endangered Forests is not used in our products and packaging.
