Altar building with Blue Firth

Every space big or small needs an altar- a small sanctuary to hold sacred objects, heirlooms, candles and natural treasures. In this two-hour workshop with intuitive ceramicist, designer and witch, Blue, we will look at making as a magical act as you each weave, coil and plait variegated stoneware clays into an altar dish spellbound with your own intentions. Each altar will then be taken and fired and then sent back to you within a lunar cycle.

Weaving local elements of craft, history and folklore, Blue uses clay as a medium for her magic. In this workshop, you will use clay to create an individual spell and learn how to introduce the elements and ritual into your practice through physical form.
