Animals dressed up in finery are depicted in the iconic HACKNEY EMPIRE print. A hookah-smoking sloth, a frog in a bowler hat, a fanning otter and an imbibing badger are just some of the characterful critters. Originally oil-painted onto wood to create a hand-painted finish, this print combines a rich palette of midnight blue with highlights of jewel tones, from ochre to grenadine, for a decadent and mesmerising effect. Our wallpaper is made using PVC-free, eco-friendly materials and promises minimal environmental impact at every stage of production.
Each roll sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
