The ARTEMIS print is inspired by Victorian designer, William Morris, and pays homage to Diana Vreeland's iconic 'Garden in Hell' room. Painterly flowers in an array of sumptuous hues pop against a rich black background. Printed on luxury British velvet, this fabric is ideal for bringing drama to your upholstery projects. Our luxury British velvets are made from the finest quality cotton and crafted on a loom by weaving two pieces of fabric face to face then cutting them apart. This creates a lavishly soft-to-the-touch finish that's resilient to everyday wear and tear.
Each metre sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
