Consider the size and function of the space, this will help determine what shade may work best. South facing spaces enjoy a lot of warm natural light, so can take any colour. Soft, neutral tones will enhance the light and airy feeling. North facing rooms receive cooler light, so opt for warmer tones to soften the light and elevate the ambience, or embrace the natural light and go for dark and decadent shades.
