Regenerative Business Manager
Role: Regenerative Business Manager
Reporting To: Managing Director
Based In: London Office, Shoreditch (onsite) - EC2A 4ER
Working Pattern: Part-time contract, 2 days a week, 3 month term.

Our Purpose:
House of Hackney is a restoration project rooted in Nature, Craft, Community and Awe! Inspired by Nature’s living systems, we use creativity and business as catalysts to regenerate our common home. We are deeply committed to shifting from being a B Corp sustainable business to a truly regenerative one, giving back more than we take. We are a work in progress and the successful candidate will have an innovative and proactive approach in everything they do to support this commitment and our wider
mission.
The Role:
This role plays a key part in supporting House of Hackney’s journey towards becoming a regenerative business. It focuses on gathering and analysing data, tracking progress against goals, and working with teams to implement practical improvements. The position is delivery-focused, helping turn regenerative commitments into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support the delivery of initiatives that contribute to House of Hackney’s regenerative goals, assisting with the coordination and tracking of ongoing projects.
● Help maintain and update the regenerative roadmap by tracking progress against defined milestones and flagging delays or risks
● Create supplier data collection questionnaires to send out to the supply base.
● Collect and organise data received from supplier data collection questionnaires to ensure required information is received to support the company Nature P&L reporting.
● Collect and organise data across departments to support regenerative initiatives and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
● Assist teams in embedding regenerative considerations into their day-to- day work by providing guidance, tools, and relevant data.
● Create workshop packs to be used to host Regenerative Business forums.
● Identify gaps in data, processes, or knowledge, and escalate these with suggested actions or areas for improvement.
● Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to gather information needed for reporting and project tracking.
● Support the implementation and tracking of impact metrics, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
● Prepare regular reports and summaries on progress against regenerative goals for internal stakeholders.
● Stay informed on relevant industry practices and compliance requirements, sharing updates with the team where relevant.
● Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying small, practical opportunities to enhance processes, tools, or product outcomes.
