Background
One year ago we appointed Mother Nature & Future Generations onto our board of Directors. This first year has been a year of setting our governance framework, building our strategic pillars and embedding mission and culture through the team.
It is time for us to move this position into its next phase now that solid structural and legal frameworks have been established. Being a consumable products business, our impacts sit within our production and products. To become measurably regenerative, we need to address and improve our direct impacts as a business.
To make a meaningful difference that in turn can move beyond the limited footprint of House of Hackney, we will need to change industry norms and focus on material innovation in our biggest selling product categories.
We are looking for someone who can challenge and push us to be making the right choices in order to drive positive change in our company. Choices that can balance the ambition of positive change and regenerative production on a path that ensures the longevity of the business. Coupled with our product ambitions, it is key that we bring other businesses along with us, using our platform to inspire outside of our internal community.
We are looking for someone who can critically assess our activity, call out gaps and priorities and support with external networks and introductions to gain insights from relevant expertise for us to execute positive change.
