The Role:

In an ever- changing market the Head of Sales is a key role in driving sustainable brand growth and unlocking new opportunities that align with House of Hackney mission and values. This individual will develop and implement strategies to achieve brand growth targets by identifying and assessing new business prospects, while managing regional sales channels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Define and lead brand activities to achieve growth objectives, aligning with overall business strategy and company values
- Market Research & Business Case Development: Research potential business opportunities, analyse ROI and costs, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Sales Budget & Goal Setting: Own the sales budget, set KPIs, and establish targets to measure performance across activities.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Ensure seamless execution of business strategies by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Sales Channel Management: Manages and sets KPIs for territory managers, helping them guide their regional sales teams to maximize existing sales channels while finding new types of opportunities.
- Performance Reporting: Conduct regular performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) on sales results and future forecasts. Develop action plans to address gaps and opportunities
- Industry Insight: Stay updated on our industry trends and events, advising on relevant participation opportunities. Has a finger on the pulse of emerging consumer trends in other industries and highlights and explores the relevant ones.
- Market Awareness: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with key stakeholders.
- New Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new markets, channels, clients, partnerships, and products.
- Contract & T&C Management: Define and negotiate new business contracts, ensuring commercial and reputational safeguards.
- Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador, upholding and promoting brand values and standards.
- Team Training & Coaching: Train and mentor sales teams on brand standards, product knowledge, and customer engagement best practices.
- Global Travel: Prepare business cases for global opportunities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 7 years experience in a managerial brand growth sales role, demonstrating strong people and management skills.
- Collaborative team leader and player who leads by example and inspires performance with a proactive and positive outlook.
- Previous experience with and a strong understanding of the US market.
- Preferred experience in B2B within the interiors industry.
- Proven track record in both physical and digital brand growth strategy delivery.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker who enjoys executing new strategies.
- Passionate about the House of Hackney brand, values and aesthetics.
- Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail
- High level reporting and IT skills (Microsoft Office, G-Suite, project management tools)
- A forward-thinker with the ability to consider the long-term impact of decisions while continually elevating the current status quo.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to inspire and influence.

Visual Content Producer
Role: Visual Content Producer

We are looking for a self-shooting, creative Visual Content Producer with a flair for bringing stories to life through moving images and photography. This role will be responsible for identifying, ideating and producing compelling visual content that aligns with the company’s brand identity and resonates with our audience.
The focus will be on creating high-quality video content for marketing campaigns and social media, while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure visual storytelling effectively communicates brand messaging across various platforms.
The ideal candidate is a skilled content producer, proficient in self-shooting video and imagery, and passionate about creating engaging, high-quality content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality visual content (videos, images, reels, and stories) through self-shooting and editing.
- Manage the entire social content production process from pre-production to post-production, including storyboarding, shooting and editing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create video for marketing campaigns and social media content.
- Stay up to date with visual content trends, platform updates, and best practices to optimise content performance.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of audience preferences, particularly within key US markets (NY, LA, TX).
- Work with influencers, brand partners and internal teams to create content as the opportunities arise.
- Support content planning and execution for Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and additional platforms as needed.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in visual content production, with a strong portfolio showcasing self-shot video and imagery.
- Able to work to a brief, ensuring key requirements are met.
- Hands-on expertise with social content creation, including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams while also taking initiative and ownership of projects.
- Passion for storytelling and creative visual content execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in interior design, home decor or a related industry.
- Familiarity with paid social media strategies and influencer collaborations.

UK Sales Executive
Role: UK Sales Executive

The Role:
The UK Sales Executive will support the Omni Channel Sales team by driving sales across the Trade and Design industry. This includes building and engaging our network of interior design contacts, through excellent communication and relationship skills, finding new sales leads and converting sales quotes. This role will strive to achieve targets for the UK territory
while upholding brand standards in the showroom.
They have a strong social and environmentally aware mindset that they apply in their day to
day work for their division in ways that align with the company's goal to become
regenerative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver set monthly sales targets through strategic prospecting, outreach and sales conversion
- Deliver and exceed account appointment and engagement targets
- Develop a roadmap for achieving sales and appointment targets, monitoring progress weekly and reacting accordingly to deliver
- Establish and maintain relationships with architects, builders, developers, designers, and other purchasing influences in the commercial market industry
- Maintain regular communication with customers and set appointments to present product collections.
- Confidently conduct meetings and appointments with existing and new Trade accounts to present key categories as well as seasonal collection launches, travelling to accounts as required
- Manage forward pipeline to ensure all potential sales are converted, customers are kept engaged and sales leads are maximised
- Engage with customers in the Showroom, giving them an exceptional experience
- Operate as a brand ambassador, representing House of Hackney to the highest standards at all times including uniform.
- Attend product knowledge training sessions as organised by Production Team and maintain a full understanding of all product categories, becoming a product expert.
- Ensure showroom and brand standards are maintained at all times
- Support with retail customers in the showroom when retail consultants are not available, ensuring our retail customers receive exceptional service.
- Support events with interior designers in Shoreditch Showroom to promote the brand.
- Trip and appointment reporting, ensuring all business matters are maintained during business travel
- Regenerative Business Practices: Support the company’s goals to work towards becoming a regenerative business. A clear understanding of regenerative practices and the ability to confidently speak to our mission. Attend all relevant training sessions.
Requirements:
- Sales Experience within the Interiors or fashion industry. A knowledge of Shopify and Hubspot are preferred.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English – other languages are beneficial
- Background in interior design and knowledge of putting together interiors schemes
- Must be highly organised and self-driven.

- Experience working with leading retailers and interior designers across the world
