We’re the leaders of the pack; creating trends without being ‘trendy’ and crafting ‘future heirlooms’- pieces that will last not just season after season, but year after year. 

We’ve ripped up the interiors rulebook and now, we urge you to go your own way too. By demystifying the decorating process through our inspirational guides, our aim is to empower you to go with your heart's desire, to honour your creative freedom and give you the confidence to do so.

Compassion

The Earth is an eternal source of inspiration for House of Hackney - she is both the muse and the poet.

In gratitude for all that Mother Nature gives us, we do everything in our power to give back, harnessing eco-friendly materials and methods while championing causes that safeguard the world’s precious wildlife.

Proudly certified as a B Corp, and partnered with the World Land Trust and Panthera, we envision seats in our board meetings for both the Earth and the next generation. 

We bring beauty and creativity to the home while reflecting the principles of sustainability that make us who we are. And, by flying the flag for British manufacturing, our business is not only environmentally responsible, but also helps to nurture local, skilled employment.  

Our House cares as deeply for people as it does the planet we call home. We support charities that protect the most vulnerable. We rally together to strengthen our local community and, for the House of Hackney family, we create jobs founded on dignity, purpose and wellbeing.   

Community

Respect for all life on Earth is key for us. We see human connection and community as a powerful tool to unite us in the common goal of protecting our shared home. We believe in nature’s symbiosis and that everyone can do well together. 

We tune in to what is going on in the world. We want to play a role in the movement of a rising awareness of our deep-rooted need as humans to commune with the earth and connect with our communities.

On our doorstep is a special place called Hackney. As we grow globally, we believe the future is local. We nourish our roots in our local community, working with charities and initiatives that leave behind a positive impact.
