The history comes courtesy of Axminster Carpets: woven at the company's Devonshire factory, this piece is the result of age-old techniques and quality British craftsmanship. Our House icon SABER the tiger, draws from the past too, what with his being inspired by antique Tibetan rugs. Though, as he stretches out across sumptuously soft British wool, you can't deny the fearsome feline makes one very contemporary design statement.
Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.

For this design there are two different sizes to choose from: the luxurious 1.83m x 1.22m is ideal for the bedroom or for laying down beside the fireplace, while the extravagant 2.44m x 1.83m is designed with living rooms in mind.
