Acanthus

The impressive scrolling 'Acanthus' leaves were first designed by William Morris in 1874, and marked the beginning of his stage of large-scale wallpaper designing. Originally block printed, these intertwined foliage designs were a recurring motif in Morris’ work. Reimagined by House of Hackney, the print makes as much impact now as it did then.
