Design Notes
Handmade in Britain, the Oriel lampshade is swathed in GAIA velvet in Blush' pink, offset by navy fringing. Painted with swirling vines, flowers and berries, this artisanal motif celebrates Gaia the goddess who, in ancient mythology, created all life on earth. But in nature there is always a dark side and so, the SERPENTIS lampstand writhes with gold-toned snakes, uniquely hand-detailed and designed to symbolise the Garden of Eden.
Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.

Delivery & Returns

UK Delivery
Charges start at £5, with delivery taking 2 to 5 working days for in-stock items.
International Delivery
