Reminiscent of the lush colour and luminous cheerfulness found in Gustav Klimts paintings of flower gardens, HOLLYHOCKS was created especially for House of Hackney by American artist Kerry Simmons, based on her own work of the same name. Repainted in a rich‚ Autumn colourway, the print captures all the pastoral purity and romance of cottagecore, while our punk spirit is embedded in the prints riot of flowers. Printed in Britain, this sumptuous velvet will make for beautiful made-to-measure window coverings or reupholstered furniture.
Each blind sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust – the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
