Design Notes
The intricately woven texture of chenille only serves to highlight MEY MEH's labyrinthine pattern - resulting in a fabric you could lose yourself in for hours. Perfect for recovering treasured pieces of furniture, the geometric motif was itself inspired by a piece of buried treasure: a 17th-century woven rug we discovered in Liberty's Oriental Carpet Department.
Please note that this fabric will require an additional treatment for fire retardancy if being used to create curtains and blinds.
Each metre sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
