Swathed across the De Beauvoir screen, the CASPAR velvet – a tapestry of flowers, birds and antique vases, based on a handmade Tabriz carpet from Persia – unfolds in rich detail. Handcrafted in England from solid beech wood using time-honoured methods, this piece is a future heirloom – designed to be cherished and passed on to the next generation.
Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
