Over a family dinner, Lila, the daughter of House of Hackney founders Frieda and Javvy, once asked, “A napkin goes on your lap, so why isn’t it called a lapkin?” A very good question indeed.
So now, we are pleased to introduce the world’s first 'lapkins': available in sets of two and cut from 100% cotton in HERBARIUM – our reimagining of the exquisite floral mosaics by 18th century English artist Mary Delany.
Part of our collection of reusable table settings, our 'lapkins' are made to order – minimising waste and the impact on the environment.
