Handcrafted in Britain with bold striped fringing the velvet Trematon lampshade is dressed in the ANDASTRA print a hand-painted damask based on a motif we found in the archives of the renowned silk weaving house Gainsborough. While ANDASTRA takes its name from the ancient warrior goddess of Britain the serpents enwrapping the lampstand have historically been depicted as the guardians of sacred spaces. In resin and brass the gilded snake scales are rendered in tactile artisanal detail making each stand utterly unique.
