Design Notes
Seeing as our iconic SABER motif was inspired by traditional Tibetan tiger rugs, it was only a matter of time before the fierce feline took to the floor and, it was worth the wait. Woven at the historic Axminster Carpets in Devon, this design is the result of meticulous craftsmanship and traditional techniques passed down through generations, alongside decadently soft wool (carefully sourced from British sheep) and a Khaki colourway that is every bit as eccentrically stylish as SABER himself.

With each piece inspired by traditional Tibetan tiger motifs sold, House of Hackney makes a donation to Panthera, the charity devoted to protecting the world's wild cats.

Wondering how much your chosen runner might be? For the average flight of straight stairs with 13 steps, you would require a runner of approx. 7 metres – costing £1995.
Alternatively, for the average flight of stairs with a winder/turn (either at the top or bottom) and 11 steps, you would require a runner of approx. 9 metres – costing £2565.
