Design Notes
While PALMERAL has become one of House of Hackney's most instantly recognisable prints, chenille is equally distinctive in both look and feel. Soft yet durable, this fabric is ideally suited for reupholstering time-worn furniture and will even go so far as to instil it with a little extra history, given that the motif was inspired by Loddiges, the world-famous hothouse of Georgian-era Hackney.
Please note that this fabric will require an additional treatment for fire retardancy if being used to create curtains and blinds.
Each metre sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
