Spotted a window of opportunity? All our fabrics can be transformed into luxurious curtains and blinds, courtesy of our made-to-measure service. This luxury British velvet features the intricately geometric 'Mey Meh' print, a pattern inspired by a 17th century rug discovered in Liberty's famous Oriental Carpets department. Conjuring a sense of traditional Eastern design, the warm red and gold colour palette is typical of the dyes used by artisans who have created these hand-woven carpets for generations. Our luxury British velvets are made from the finest quality cotton and crafted on a loom by weaving two pieces of fabric face to face then cutting them apart. This creates a lavishly soft-to-the-touch finish that's resilient to everyday wear and tear. Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
