A tranquil space perfect for letting the stresses of the day float away, the townhouse’s main bathroom features the enchanting ‘Sumatra’ wallpaper in an understated yet warm palette of blush-pink and pear-green. Combined with unusual half-moon tiles from Mosaic Del Sur, “the overall colour of the bathroom is that true plaster pink colour, it’s a really interesting neutral, with each tile having a slightly different hue. It actually feels quite earthy as opposed to feeling very pink,” explains House of Hackney’s co-founder Frieda Gormley. An abundance of indoor plants, copper details on the traditional CP Hart bath and sink and a classic black and white tiled floor all add to the undeniable ambience of this sanctuary. House of Hackney’s ‘Palmeral’ towels, featuring an explosion of palm leaves add to the indoor/ outdoor feel of the room.
