Design Notes

House of Hackney's take on William Morris' famous 'Blackthorn' print is beautifully showcased on this 'Oriel' lampshade. In a palette of black and teal with flecks of red and yellow, it encompasses hawthorn, daisies and tulips that were originally block-painted onto paper in the design process. This statement shade is hand crafted using British velvet and trimmed with chic black fringing. Team it with a complementary lampstand or hang it from the ceiling for drama.

Please note that each piece is unique, so print placement may differ from image shown.

Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
