Not all runners are created equal: this one is woven by the master craftsmen at Axminster – the historic manufacturer of the world’s finest floor coverings – and made from the very best British wool for unparalleled softness (amongst a long list of other benefits). Then there’s its iconic motif, ARTEMIS, an unfurling of Victorian-esque blooms inspired by the work of celebrated 19th century designer William Morris. Rendered in luxurious ‘Gold’ offset by yarn in our signature shades (from ‘Petrol’ to ‘Vermillion’), it all adds up to create a runner like no other.

Wondering how much your chosen runner might be? For the average flight of straight stairs with 13 steps, you would require a runner of approx. 7 metres – costing £1995.
Alternatively, for the average flight of stairs with a winder/turn (either at the top or bottom) and 11 steps, you would require a runner of approx. 9 metres – costing £2565.
Please note these estimates are a guide price only, based on average staircase measurements. To ensure your measurements are accurate, we recommend seeking advice from a professional fitter who has experience of working with Axminster carpets (or their equivalent). If you’d like help with finding a fitter, would like to request a quote or have any other questions regarding our runners, please contact our Customer Services team.
