Sales Associate

Part Time Position (Saturdays and Sundays Only)

THE ROLE

As a Sales Associate at House of Hackney you will play a key part in the running of our Flagship showroom. You will display excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and passion in assisting our customers daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximize company sales growth and profitability by providing outstanding customer service
  • Meet Monthly and Weekly sales and productivity goals
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as prospecting new customers
  • Use a strong knowledge of House of Hackney products and services to deliver exceptional customer services and sales
  • Provide and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm in all forms of communication
  • Actively contribute and participate in store meetings and training sessions
  • Follow operational processes to ensure accurate stock administration

  • Interior Designer
    Full time position
    Location: Head Office – Shoreditch, London

    THE ROLE

    We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic Mid-Level Interior Designer to join us in the establishment of the House of Hackney Interior Design Studio. You will be inspired to work with the creative directors in creating and delivering projects which embody the brand’s aesthetic. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience in dealing with projects from initial phase to completion.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of projects from initial phase to completion
  • Mastery in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, EstiMac, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret a brief and develop presentations, schedules and sample boards for live projects .
  • Aim to maintain and deliver the highest standards of customer service
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and clients .
  • Supervise technical drawings and monitor regulatory requirements
  • Operate as a brand ambassador in line with the brand guidelines
  • Manage business remotely and report consistently when travelling
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Sales Assistant for UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Digital Market Places (Wholesale & Trade)

    THE ROLE

    The successful candidate will support the Sales Lead for Wholesale & Trade sales in UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Digital Market Places. They will be responsible for supporting the Sales Lead and the Head of Sales to achieve sales targets. They will ensure all orders are inputted into the system correctly and accurately, timelines are carefully tracked and adhered to, and there is clear communication to the customer at all times. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for maintaining clear and open communication with all accounts regarding prices, deliveries, and product specifications. They will display a professional attitude and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the company to gain a successful outcome for all.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clear understanding of sales targets within the territory
  • Support the Sales Lead and Head of Sales in preparing for all appointments and tradeshows. Attend appointments as and when requested by Sales Lead, which could involve travel if necessary.
  • Detailed order maintenance including inputting orders correctly and accurately while tracking timelines and communicating any issues to the Sales Lead
  • Updating any paperwork necessary for order shipments (varies by account)
  • Regularly liaise with the warehouse staff, Production Team, and customer to ensure a smooth order process within specified SLA.
  • Operate and look as a brand ambassador in line with the brand guidelines and wear House of Hackney uniform at all times.
  • Conduct business in the House of Hackney way at all times.
  • Manage the flow of Trade Portal customers and ensure orders and entered and passed to Sales Lead.
  • Support Sales Lead in weekly sales analysis
  • Monitor online and social media presence of accounts within the territory to ensure brand standards are upheld and company T+Cs are followed
  • Keep clear records of all selling tools that accounts require and distribute updates seasonally Regularly communicate with accounts to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the collection offering and that they have all selling tools and collateral necessary
  • Ability to see and understand the big picture and have the foresight to anticipate challenges due to issues as they arise
  • Extensive knowledge of how internal systems (i.e. Bright Pearl, NuORDER, and the Trade Portal) operate and ability to extract necessary information from each of them
  • Quick response time when communicating internally and externally
  • Ensure prices for both Wholesale and Trade customers are correct in Bright Pearl
  • Upload all product images and information to NuORDER and the Trade Portal
  • Distribute price lists and option plans to customers based on account type

  • Junior Sales Lead for US, Middle East, and Asia (Wholesale & Trade)

    THE ROLE

    The successful candidate will support the Head of Sales and Global Trade Sales Manager in managing the House of Hackney Wholesale & Trade sales in USA (North America), Middle East, and Asia. They will be responsible for supporting the Head of Sales and Global Trade Sales Manager to achieve sales targets. They will be responsible for maintaining the relationships with the current customer base as well as prospecting new customers in order to grow the business in their territories. They will ensure all orders are inputted into the system correctly and accurately, timelines are carefully tracked and adhered to, and there is clear communication to the customer at all times. The Junior Sales Lead will be responsible for maintaining clear and open communication with all accounts regarding prices, deliveries, and product specifications. The Junior Sales Lead will also be responsible for achieving sales targets set forth by the Head of Sales through creative sales techniques and close follow up with clients and accounts. They will also be involved in thorough prospecting to find new accounts throughout the territory. They will display a professional attitude and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the company to gain a successful outcome for all.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of sales targets within the territory
  • Develop a roadmap by identifying opportunities for achieving sales with clear targets by account and customer type, working with both Wholesale and Trade customers
  • Monitor performance of current Wholesale and Trade accounts and address concerns in regard to achieving budget with Head of Sales if necessary
  • Detailed order maintenance including inputting orders correctly and accurately while tracking timelines and communicating any issues to the Global Trade Sales Manager
  • Become an expert in the territory with knowledge of the market, including all top department stores, concept stores, interior designers, architects, digital market places, etc.

  • Maintain regular communication with customers and set appointments to present seasonal collections

  • Production Assistant

    Full time position
    Location: Head Office– Shoreditch, London

    THE ROLE

    This position actively assists the production and buying team in the execution of the supply chain strategy and coordination of the department. The candidate should have excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently. They will work closely with the Production coordinators supporting the department in administrative duties and fulfilling ad-hoc project requests.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is a supporting role in the production and buying team.
  • Updating Brightpearl system, raising POs and managing communication with suppliers to ensure stock is receipted in on time
  • Create POs on time and accurately to ensure all made to order SOs are fulfilled within stated lead times
  • Uphold the department working week to ensure all required weekly tasks are completed in good time
  • Creating department tools such as visual boards, spec sheets, component files with high attention to detail
  • Assisting in sample production, maintaining the sample storeroom and assisting in product photo shoots.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships across the business including buying/production, sales channels, logistics department.
  • Build and maintain relationships with fabric and trim suppliers to achieve the best possible lead times, prices and payment terms.
  • Have an understanding of the company calendar to ensure the smooth running of the critical path
