House of Hackney's flagship store in Shoreditch and its product is stocked in more than 60 luxury department and concept stores worldwide. Sale Associate

Full time position
Location: Showroom – Shoreditch, London

THE ROLE

As a Sales Associate at House of Hackney you will play a key part in the running of our Flagship Showroom. You will display excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and passion in assisting our customers daily. House of Hackney is a growing brand and there will be times when there will be additional pop up or potentially permanent showrooms opening. The Sales Associate may need to travel to support in the set-up of these showrooms. They will be instrumental in setting up teams and ensuring all necessary actions have been taken to open the new showrooms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximise company sales growth and profitability by providing an outstanding bespoke customer service in line with HOH brand values.
  • Meet monthly and weekly productivity goals.
  • Deal with customer enquires both offline and online as and when required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as prospect for new customers.
  • Ensure customers are well informed about orders and any status changes while remaining attentive to customer needs.
  • Strong knowledge of House of Hackney products and brand values.
  • Provide and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards the job and company customers in all forms of communication.
  • Actively contribute to and participate in store meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist in stock control and ensure stock accuracy.

  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Previous customer service experience within luxury store / showroom.
  • Passionate about the luxury interiors landscape with an understanding of related consumer expectations.
  • Ability to build / maintain a client base.
  • Existing client book is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the team and overall business. Weekend availability is essential.

  • Interior Designer
    Full time position
    Location: Head Office – Shoreditch, London

    THE ROLE

    We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic Mid-Level Interior Designer to join us in the establishment of the House of Hackney Interior Design Studio. You will be inspired to work with the creative directors in creating and delivering projects which embody the brand’s aesthetic. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience in dealing with projects from initial phase to completion.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, EstiMac, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
  • Degree in Interior Design or qualified by experience.
  • Design Industry experience, FF&E purchasing experience an advantage.
  • Produce presentations, schedules and sample boards for live projects.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as a team player effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take and interpret instructions and work with minimum supervision.
  • Previous UK work experience is essential.
  • Check technical drawings and monitor regulatory requirements.
  • Very high-level communication skills: fluent in English, with the ability to communicate, in writing and orally, complicated ideas accurately and clearly to clients.

  • SALES AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGER

    THE ROLE

    Working as the bridge between the online platform and the showroom sales team, this role is the first point of contact for customers contacting the online shop. This role is responsible for ensuring that all communication and action taken enables House of Hackney to maintain and deliver exceptional customer advice to our clients. This position requires the individual to take responsibility for increasing the direct website sales, providing the highest levels of customer care, whilst ensuring all customers receive expert advice and service, either via themselves or by directing customers to the appropriate expert adviser.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Being the first point of contact for our customers contacting the website, ensuring all communication is answered within the channel SLA's including phone, email and live chat.
  • Identifying high spending or priority level customers and developing a contact plan to engage with these customers.
  • Dealing with all customer enquiries and sales orders (including bespoke), chasing deliveries, resolving simple technical issues and forwarding client queries to relevant teams where necessary.
  • Managing the returns process; ensuring returns are processed within 24 hours of arrival.
  • Responding to any enquiries and escalating to ensure the issue is resolved in a timely and suitable manner.
  • Ensuring customers are updated regularly regarding any ongoing queries and delivering the highest level of service and communication at all times.

  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Be passionate about sales and offering excellent customer care and advice in a luxury brand.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multi-task across projects.
  • Have proven experience working in customer care in an online business.
  • Have previous experience using customer service software, Zendesk experience is desirable.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Able to use initiative.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Good self-organisation and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with Microsoft packages.
